We are looking for a resourceful logistics sales/account executive to promote our logistical services. You will be generating new business leads, communicating with existing customers about their logistical needs, and arranging efficient transportation services with carriers.
To ensure success as a logistics account executive, you should exhibit extensive sales experience in a related environment and the ability to identify new business opportunities. An accomplished logistics account executive will be someone whose customer-centered approach and logistical expertise result in increased profitability.
However, the primary tasks, duties, and responsibilities that typically make up the logistics sales executive job description are listed below:
§ Responsible for developing a plan to achieve sales target
§ Responsible for carrying out prospecting calls
§ Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firm’s freight transportation services
§ Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships
§ Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution
§ Represent the firm in negotiating and building relationship with shippers and carriers
§ Perform Cold-calling and work to build a book of businesses.
§ Maintaining assigned accounts and providing ongoing customer support.
§ Developing and implementing sales strategies around the provision of logistical services.
§ Identifying and contacting prospective customers to promote logistical services and negotiate contracts.
§ Evaluating business processes, assessing risks, and recommending improvements to achieve sales targets.
§ Addressing customer concerns and finding innovative solutions for complex logistical challenges.
§ Assessing customer needs and determining suitable modes of transportation that align with cost and timeframe expectations.
§ Collaborating with other departments to optimize logistical services and arranging shipment and transportation details with carrier agents.
§ Developing and maintaining an effective carrier network and excellent customer relationships.
§ Developing and implementing sales strategies around the provision of logistical services.
§ Identifying and contacting prospective customers to promote logistical services and negotiate contracts.
§ Integrating suitable technology solutions to optimize logistical services and communication channels.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹60,000.00 per month
